System Under Stress is a personal publication. This policy explains what limited data is collected when you visit, and how it is handled.
What this site is
System Under Stress (https://systemunderstress.com) is a static publication written and operated by Konsta Osh. It has no user accounts, no comment system, no advertising, and no analytics scripts embedded in the pages.
What data is collected
This site does not directly collect personal data. However, data is processed indirectly through the infrastructure providers listed below.
Cloudflare (infrastructure and DNS)
This site is served through Cloudflare, which acts as a reverse proxy and content delivery network. When you visit any page, Cloudflare processes your IP address, HTTP request headers, and browser information as part of delivering the page and protecting against abuse. Cloudflare may set functional cookies on your browser as part of its security and performance services.
Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and processes data under its own privacy policy. System Under Stress has concluded a Data Processing Agreement with Cloudflare as required under GDPR Article 28.
Server-level traffic logs (HTTP request counts, bandwidth, status codes) are reviewed in aggregate through Cloudflare’s analytics dashboard. These logs do not identify individual users and are not shared with third parties.
Typefaces
This site uses self-hosted font files (Playfair Display and Courier Prime) served directly from https://systemunderstress.com. No request is made to Google Fonts or any third-party font service. Your browser loads all typefaces from the same origin as the page.
Contact by email
If you send an email to Konsta Osh via the contact link on this site, your email address and message content are received and stored in a standard email mailbox. This information is used only to respond to your message and is not shared with any third party.
Cookies
This site stores one first-party browser value: sus-theme. It is stored in localStorage, not as a cookie, and remembers your light/dark display preference. It contains no personal data and is never transmitted to any server.
Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies as part of its CDN, bot protection, or challenge services. The exact cookies depend on the Cloudflare features enabled for this site. These cookies do not track your browsing across other websites. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation for the full list.
There are no advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies on this site.

As this site does not collect personal data directly, there is generally nothing to access or delete.
